Clive Barker's Hellraiser: Revival Edition Comparison

Compare confirmed Standard, Deluxe and regional physical SKUs; distinguish purchases from access to owned extras. Covers Clive Barker's Hellraiser: Revival.

Confirmed editions and their contents as captured on 12 October 2026. Prices are United States digital list prices; regional pricing and stock for the limited collector's editions change independently.

Clive Barker's Hellraiser: Revival comes in two digital editions and three limited collector's editions. The Standard edition is $39.99 and the Deluxe edition is $49.99, and the $10 difference buys eight items: two weapon skins, one melee weapon, a weapon charm, and four digital extras including the film filter. The collector's editions are physical products sold by Boss Team Games at $199.99 and $249.99 for the two documented tiers.

There is no season pass and no announced post-launch content. Deluxe adds a weapon, cosmetic options and digital media rather than a separate story campaign.

The five confirmed editions

Two editions are digital and sold everywhere. Three are limited physical collector's editions sold by the developer's own store.

What the Deluxe edition adds

The Deluxe edition bundles eight named items. Four are in-game cosmetics and one is a usable weapon; three are digital media.

  • The Nailer — a melee weapon.
  • Cenobite shotgun skin — cosmetic.
  • Punisher baseball bat skin — cosmetic.
  • Leviathan weapon charm — cosmetic.
  • Digital art book — read from the main menu.
  • Digital soundtrack — played from the main menu.
  • Digital novella Bleeding Hearts — prose fiction.
  • 1980s horror movie filter — toggled in the options menu.

Where each of those lives once you own it, including the in-game unlock conditions, is covered on the Deluxe content access page.

The Deluxe skins do not appear immediately

This is the detail most likely to make an owner think their purchase failed. The Deluxe skins only become selectable after you have obtained the corresponding weapon in the campaign.

When you pick that weapon up, the Deluxe skin equips automatically, and you can then swap it from the inventory by inspecting the weapon. So the sequence is: buy Deluxe, play until you find the weapon, and the skin is there. A skin you cannot see yet is not a missing entitlement.

Preorder skins are separate: the Labyrinth Pistol Skin and Martyr Sawblade Skin came from preorders, not from the Deluxe edition, and they apply to any edition including Standard. Do not buy Deluxe expecting to recover a missed preorder bonus.

Upgrading an existing purchase

Owners of the Standard edition can add the Deluxe items through a standalone Deluxe Content add-on listed at $14.99. On Steam it is a separate product with its own app id, 4664770, and the console stores list equivalent add-ons.

The add-on is compatible with an existing base-game purchase on the same platform and account; it is not a cross-platform upgrade. Buying it on Steam does not add the extras to a console copy. Store coverage and regional pricing are detailed on the price page.

The collector's editions at a glance

All three collector's editions are physical products that include a digital game code, sold and fulfilled by Boss Team Games. Each offers a choice between a classic Lament Configuration replica and a new Genesis Configuration replica with an LED.

  • Cenobite at $199.99 adds a Pillar of Souls polystone statue, a numbered certificate of authenticity, a hardcover art book, a Pinhead art print and an oversized Lament Configuration box.
  • Leviathan at $249.99 is limited to 1,000 copies across all platforms.
  • Genesis price and the per-item differences between the three tiers were not captured.

The contents, the shipping situation and the fact that a collector's edition is a different kind of purchase from a digital edition are set out on the collector's edition page.

No season pass and no announced content updates

The official FAQ states that there is no season pass and that no future downloadable content or content updates are planned. This is unusual for a game with a Deluxe tier, and it changes the buying calculation: there is no later bundle that will make an early purchase redundant, and no expansion to wait for.

It also means the Deluxe extras are the entire premium offer. If the eight items listed above do not appeal, the Standard edition is the complete game and nothing is being held back for a later release.

Choosing between them

The decision reduces to three questions.

  • Do you want the digital extras and one extra weapon? Deluxe at $49.99 is $10 more than Standard, and it is cheaper than upgrading later.
  • Do you want physical collectibles? That is a separate purchase from the digital edition, sold by Boss Team Games, and the terms differ enough to read the collector's edition page first.
  • Which platform will you play on? The digital prices match across platforms, so choose on performance and format rather than on price, using the console comparison.

Frequently asked questions

How many editions does Hellraiser: Revival have?

Two digital editions, Standard at $39.99 and Deluxe at $49.99, plus three limited collector's editions sold by Boss Team Games.

What do I get for the extra $10 in the Deluxe edition?

The Nailer melee weapon, three weapon skins, a weapon charm, a digital art book, a digital soundtrack, a digital novella and an 1980s horror movie filter.

Is there a separate Day One edition?

No documented Day One retail SKU exists. The two digital editions are Standard and Deluxe, and the preorder bonus was a pair of cosmetic skins rather than an edition.

Is there a season pass?

No. The official FAQ states there is no season pass and no planned future downloadable content or content updates.

Can I upgrade Standard to Deluxe later?

Yes, through the standalone Deluxe Content add-on at $14.99. That route costs $54.98 in total, so it is only worth it if you already own the base game.
