Clive Barker's Hellraiser: Revival PC Requirements

Check official minimum and recommended PC requirements, including separate full-game and demo storage needs. Covers Clive Barker's Hellraiser: Revival.

Official requirements for the release build as published on Steam and captured on 12 October 2026, including the separate demo storage figure. Requirements state compatibility, not measured frame rates.

Clive Barker's Hellraiser: Revival needs Windows 10 64-bit version 22H2 or newer, and the full game asks for 80 GB of storage on both the minimum and recommended tiers. The minimum GPU is an RX Vega 64 or GTX 1660 with 8 GB of RAM, and the recommended GPU is an RX 6600 XT or RTX 3060 with 16 GB of RAM. There is no macOS or Linux version.

The demo has the same processor, graphics and memory requirements as the full game but needs only 50 GB, so a machine that runs the demo comfortably still has to clear the full game's larger storage ask before buying.

Minimum requirements

These are the official Steam figures for the full game. An SSD is recommended rather than required at this tier, but it is the single cheapest upgrade for load times.

Full game minimum requirements
ComponentMinimum
OSWindows 10 64-bit, version 22H2 or newer
ProcessorAMD Ryzen 5 1500X or Intel Core i5-8400
Memory8 GB RAM
GraphicsAMD Radeon RX Vega 64 8 GB or NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1660
Storage80 GB
NotesSSD recommended

The minimum tier is not trivial: an RX Vega 64 or GTX 1660 is a real discrete card, so integrated graphics are not covered by the official specification.

The recommended tier doubles the memory and moves up roughly two GPU generations, but the storage figure does not change.

Third-party figures disagree: at least one requirements site lists a conflicting recommended specification and a 50 GB storage figure for the full game. The Steam listing and the publisher's own FAQ both state 80 GB, so the third-party figure is treated here as unreliable.

Demo requirements and the storage difference

The demo is not a scaled-down requirement set. It asks for the same processor, graphics card and memory as the full game, and only the storage figure drops.

Processor
Identical to the full game
Graphics and memory
Identical to the full game
Demo storage
50 GB
Full game storage
80 GB

The practical consequence is that the demo is a genuine compatibility test for everything except disk space. If the demo runs badly, the full game will too. Plan for the extra 30 GB before you buy; the demo's own scope and progress rules are on the demo page.

OS, driver and platform conditions

Three conditions sit outside the component lists and each one can stop a launch on its own.

  • Windows 10 version 22H2 or newer — an older Windows 10 build is below the published minimum, so update before installing.
  • 64-bit only — there is no 32-bit build.
  • Windows only — the store data lists no macOS and no Linux version, so the game is not natively available on those platforms.

Graphics drivers are not specified by version in the official list, but a current driver is the standard first check when a game launches to a black screen on hardware that meets the listed tiers.

What requirements can and cannot tell you

A requirements list answers one question: will this build start and run on this machine. It does not answer how well.

  • Meeting the minimum tier means the game is supported on your hardware, not that it holds a particular frame rate.
  • The recommended tier is the configuration the publisher expects to be comfortable, and it is not a maximum.
  • No official per-tier frame-rate or resolution targets were published for PC, so any performance figure you see is a measurement by whoever produced it.

Third-party checkers: automated can-you-run-it tools compare your hardware against their own database rather than against the publisher's list. They are useful for a quick read and are not authoritative.

Before you install

Two checks cover most failed first launches: free space and OS version. The game needs 80 GB free after the operating system and other software, so a drive with 80 GB total free is not enough once patching is taken into account.

If the game will run on your machine, the next question is what you can expect once it does; that is covered on the review page. If you are still choosing between platforms, the console comparison covers the alternatives.

Frequently asked questions

How much storage does the game need?

The full game lists 80 GB on both the minimum and recommended tiers. The demo needs 50 GB.

Which operating systems are supported?

Windows 10 64-bit version 22H2 or newer. The store data lists no macOS or Linux version, so there is no native build for those platforms.

What graphics card do I need?

The minimum is an AMD Radeon RX Vega 64 with 8 GB or an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1660. The recommended is an AMD Radeon RX 6600 XT or an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060.

How much RAM does it need?

8 GB for the minimum tier and 16 GB for the recommended tier.

If the demo runs, will the full game run?

The demo shares the same processor, graphics and memory requirements, so it is a genuine compatibility test. It needs 50 GB against the full game's 80 GB, so check your free space separately.
