Where each platform sells the game
The game is sold digitally on all four platforms and physically on two of them. Each platform's digital store is the only place that sells that platform's version directly.
| Platform | Digital store | Physical format |
|---|---|---|
| PC (Windows) | Steam | None announced |
| PS5 | PlayStation Store | Disc |
| Xbox Series X|S | Microsoft Store | Disc |
| Switch 2 | Nintendo eShop | Game key card, retail 30 October 2026 |
The three limited collector's editions are not sold through those stores. They are sold and fulfilled by Boss Team Games at bossteamstore.com, and the fulfilment terms are different enough from a normal order that they have their own page.
Region note: the price table below is the United States Steam listing unless a row says otherwise. Steam regional pricing differs, for example the Japanese listing is priced separately at ¥5,900 for Standard and ¥7,800 for Deluxe.
What each edition costs
There are three things a buyer can pay for on PC: the base game, the Deluxe edition that bundles the extras, and a standalone Deluxe Content add-on for owners of the base game.
| Product | Price | What it is |
|---|---|---|
| Standard edition | $39.99 | Base game |
| Deluxe edition | $49.99 | Base game plus the eight Deluxe items |
| Deluxe Content | $14.99 | Standalone add-on, Steam appid 4664770 |
The arithmetic is worth doing before you choose: buying Standard and then the standalone Deluxe Content add-on costs $54.98, which is more than the $49.99 Deluxe edition. The add-on exists for people who already own the base game, not as a cheaper route to the extras.
The same two digital price points, $39.99 and $49.99, are listed for the console versions, so the platform decision is not a price decision at list price. What the Deluxe items actually are is broken down on the editions comparison, and where to find them once owned is on accessing Deluxe content.
Third-party listings and what they are worth
Price-comparison sites track roughly a dozen stores and a couple of dozen offers for the PC version. The lowest legitimate-looking listing captured on 12 October 2026 was about $33.34, roughly 16 percent below the $39.99 list price, from a key store rather than from Steam itself.
Those aggregators are useful because they sort stores into two groups: official stores and key stores. That split is the whole point of reading them. An official store is an authorised retailer selling you a code the publisher will honour; a key store may be selling keys obtained through channels the publisher has not authorised.
Discounts move: a listing captured on one day is not a price guarantee. Any figure here is a snapshot of 12 October 2026, and the practical check is whether the store you are about to pay appears under official stores on the comparison site you are reading.
Unauthorised resellers and the risk they carry
Marketplace and peer-to-peer sites that let anyone list a key are the category to treat carefully. Community price tracking has flagged listings on G2A, Kinguin and funpay for this game, and those platforms are not authorised sellers.
- A key bought from an unauthorised seller can be revoked after you redeem it, leaving you without the game and without a refund route through the publisher.
- Payment disputes go to the marketplace rather than to the store, so the publisher cannot help you and neither can Steam support.
- Peer-to-peer listings have no stock guarantee, so the price you see may not correspond to a key the seller actually holds.
This is a genuine price difference in exchange for a genuine risk, and the size of the gap matters when you weigh it: a few dollars off against the chance of losing the whole purchase. The activation side of buying a PC code is covered on the Steam keys page.

Digital, disc and game key card
Three ownership formats exist, and they are not equivalent in what they hand you on release day.
- Digital
- Entitlement on your store account, playable from the 8 October 2026 launch
- Disc
- PS5 and Xbox Series X|S only; the disc installs from physical media
- Game key card
- Switch 2 retail item that carries a download code rather than the game data
- Collector's editions
- Physical merchandise plus a digital game code, shipped separately
The Switch 2 case is the one most likely to cause a surprise. A game key card is a physical product, but it does not contain the game, so buying it does not avoid a download and it does not arrive until the 30 October 2026 retail date. The release schedule for each format is laid out on the release date page.
Preorder bonuses
Preorders carried two cosmetic items: the Labyrinth Pistol Skin and the Martyr Sawblade Skin. They are skins rather than content, so their absence does not change what the game contains.
Check availability before ordering: a preorder bonus applies to orders placed before release, and whether a given store still grants it after 8 October 2026 depends on that store. If the bonus is why you are choosing one retailer over another, confirm it on the listing itself.
Deciding what to buy
Two questions settle most purchases. Which extras do you want, and which platform will you play on.
- For what the Deluxe edition adds and whether the standalone upgrade applies to you, read the edition comparison.
- For redeeming a PC code and the region conditions that apply to keys, read the Steam keys page.
- For the physical collectibles and who fulfils them, read the collector's edition page.
- For whether the game runs on your machine before you spend anything, check the PC requirements.
Frequently asked questions
How much does Hellraiser: Revival cost?
The Standard edition is $39.99 and the Deluxe edition is $49.99 on Steam in the United States, with the same two digital prices on PS5, Xbox Series X|S and Switch 2. A standalone Deluxe Content add-on is listed at $14.99 for owners of the base game.
Is there a cheaper way to buy the Deluxe extras?
No. Standard plus the standalone Deluxe Content add-on costs $54.98, more than the $49.99 Deluxe edition, so the add-on only makes sense if you already own the base game.
Can I buy a disc?
Discs exist for PS5 and Xbox Series X|S. The Switch 2 physical release is a game key card, which is a physical item that carries a download rather than the game data, and it reaches retail on 30 October 2026.
Are key resale sites safe?
Marketplace and peer-to-peer key sites such as G2A, Kinguin and funpay are not authorised sellers. A key from them can be revoked after redemption, and the publisher and platform cannot help with a failed code.
Is the preorder bonus still available?
The preorder bonus was the Labyrinth Pistol Skin and Martyr Sawblade Skin. Whether a specific store still grants it after the 8 October 2026 release depends on that store, so check the listing.
