Clive Barker's Hellraiser: Revival Steam Keys

Check legitimate product and region compatibility, supported activation and the correct entitlement support route. Covers Clive Barker's Hellraiser: Revival.

Activation and store coverage for the Steam version as captured on 12 October 2026. Region-lock status is not officially stated by the publisher, so any region restriction claim here is attributed rather than confirmed.

A legitimate Clive Barker's Hellraiser: Revival Steam key activates one of three things: the Standard edition, the Deluxe edition, or the standalone Deluxe Content add-on with app id 4664770. Standard is $39.99 and Deluxe is $49.99 on Steam in the United States, and the lowest third-party PC listing captured on 12 October 2026 was about $33.34, roughly 16 percent below list.

The part that decides whether a cheap key is a bargain or a liability is the seller. Official retailers sell keys the publisher will honour; marketplace and peer-to-peer sites let anyone list one, and a key from there can be revoked after you redeem it.

What a key can activate

There are three Steam products, and a key should map to exactly one of them. Knowing which one you are buying prevents the most common mismatch, which is paying Deluxe money for a Standard key.

Steam products and list prices
ProductSteam list priceIdentifier
Standard edition$39.99Base game, app 1551980
Deluxe edition$49.99Base game plus the eight Deluxe items
Deluxe Content$14.99Standalone add-on, app 4664770

Check the app id, not the title: third-party listings often describe a product loosely. The Deluxe Content add-on and the Deluxe edition are different purchases, and only the add-on requires you to already own the base game.

Activating a key on Steam

Steam keys are redeemed inside the Steam client rather than on the store page. The sequence below is the standard one and works the same for a Standard, Deluxe or add-on key.

  1. Sign in to the correct account

Use the Steam account you intend to keep the game on. A key redeemed on the wrong account stays there.

  2. Open the activation dialog

In the Steam client choose Games, then Activate a Product on Steam, and follow the prompt.

  3. Enter the key exactly

Paste the code without extra spaces. Steam validates the format before it validates the entitlement.

  4. Confirm the product name

Steam shows what the key grants before it finishes. If it shows Standard when you paid for Deluxe, stop and resolve it with the seller.

  5. Verify in your library

The game appears in your library immediately. The Deluxe extras appear in-game according to the conditions on the Deluxe access page.

Completion indicator: the product appears in your Steam library with the right edition name, and the store page for that product shows as owned rather than offering a purchase button.

Region and account conditions

The publisher has not published a region-lock statement for this game, so the honest answer is that region restrictions are not officially confirmed either way. That is not the same as there being none.

  • Steam regional pricing exists for this game, for example the Japanese listing is priced separately at ¥5,900 for Standard and ¥7,800 for Deluxe, which means the product is sold through regional storefronts.
  • Many Steam keys are region-restricted by the seller even when the base game is not, and a region-locked key will refuse to activate outside its region.
  • Check the seller's own region statement before paying, because that is where the restriction would be disclosed.

Unresolved by design: because no official region-lock statement exists, this page does not claim that keys are globally activatable. Verify with the seller, or buy from Steam directly where region is handled for you.

Where the cheaper listings come from

Comparison sites tracked roughly eleven stores and around two dozen offers for the PC version when captured on 12 October 2026. The lowest listing of about $33.34 was reproduced consistently across them, and it came from a key store rather than from Steam.

The useful feature of those sites is that they separate official stores from key stores. That classification is the buyer's main protection, because it tells you which listings come with the publisher's authorisation and which come with a marketplace dispute process.

Unauthorised resellers

Marketplace and peer-to-peer listings for this game have been recorded on G2A at around $31.50 and on funpay, which is a peer-to-peer platform. Neither is an authorised seller.

  • A revoked key leaves you with no game and no route through the publisher, because the transaction was not with them.
  • Peer-to-peer listings depend on the seller actually holding a key, so the advertised price may not be realisable.
  • Platform support handles the redemption problem, not the payment problem, so a bad marketplace key is a dispute you run yourself.

The gap between $31.50 and $39.99 is a few dollars against the risk of the whole purchase. If you want the discount without that risk, watch the official stores and the authorised key retailers instead; store coverage is listed on the price page.

If a key does not work

Where you go for help depends on who sold you the key, and this is the practical cost of buying outside official channels.

  • Bought from Steam — the purchase is already an entitlement; a problem is a Steam support case.
  • Bought from an authorised retailer — go back to that retailer with the order reference; they issued the key.
  • Bought from a marketplace or peer-to-peer site — your recourse is that site's dispute process, and the publisher and Steam cannot issue a replacement.

A key that reports as already used or invalid is not a Steam fault if Steam was never the seller. Keep the order confirmation and the error message; both marketplaces and retailers ask for them.

What a Steam key does not give you

A Steam key is a Steam entitlement only. It does not grant the Microsoft version, the PlayStation version or the Switch 2 version, and it does not interact with them.

The Xbox release is a separate product that supports Xbox Play Anywhere, meaning one purchase covers the console and the PC version through Microsoft rather than through Steam. That entitlement and its limits are explained on the Xbox Play Anywhere page.

Frequently asked questions

What does a Hellraiser: Revival Steam key activate?

One of three Steam products: the Standard edition at $39.99, the Deluxe edition at $49.99, or the standalone Deluxe Content add-on at $14.99 with app id 4664770.

Are the keys region locked?

The publisher has not published a region-lock statement, so it is not officially confirmed either way. Many Steam keys carry seller-imposed region restrictions, so check the seller's own disclosure before paying.

How do I activate the key?

In the Steam client open Games, choose Activate a Product on Steam, and enter the code. Confirm the product name Steam shows before finishing, then check your library.

Why are some listings much cheaper?

The lowest captured listing was about $33.34 from a key store, roughly 16 percent below list. Comparison sites separate official stores from key stores, and marketplace or peer-to-peer sites such as G2A and funpay are not authorised sellers.

The key does not work. Who do I contact?

Whoever sold it. Steam handles purchases made on Steam, an authorised retailer handles its own keys, and a marketplace or peer-to-peer site handles disputes for listings placed there. The publisher cannot replace a key it did not sell.
